Ontario has colleges to that serve the same thing. Its just a status thing in the US, because University there is basically a cartel system

yeah no doubt going by the prices. and shit i still think prices here are way too high and all post education should be much much cheaper or free and accessible

Yeah, I went to SAIT so prices weren't insane, I think it was about 1.5 to 2k a semester, still a good chunk but not brutal. 2 years, graduated, have had decent jobs I've enjoyed in the IT/IS job sector
