I've actually thought of a way to make things actually have stakes too.

So my idea is this: Whichever team wins a Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match, their brand gets the final spot in the Royal Rumble. While the winner of the King of the Ring main events Survivor Series. Then the Royal Rumble winner main events Mania, and SummerSlam can be generally for anything that doesn't fit.
