As far as shounen anime go, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan, Rising of the Shield Hero (though that's a very mature anime for the most part), Kill La Kill, Mobile Fighter G Gundam, SSSS Gridman, Fist of the North Star... all those are probably my top picks. If you're looking for something both on the lighter side, Danmachi also comes recommended.
