Also if I was someone doing the hiring I wouldn't be searching up their social media bc thats irrelevant to me so I probably wouldn't have to make this decision in the first place unless it was brought to my attention otherwise thats what the background check is for, I'm not gonna look at their shit myself

agreed I have a problem with it personally but if I was hiring thats a different story. There's a lot of things I personally disagree with but would still hire for jobs if I think they're the best fit

I think it's important to do background checks before you do business with them. I think it's hilarious that people actually post videos onto social media that uncriminates them. It's so dumb.

Yeah every job I've had has had an outside company do a background check, including the one that i had hiring power for. So I let them do their job
