That may be the case, but also it is hard to decide which one. Matthews won the Rocket Richard last year, Marner's playmaking ability enhances him a lot, Nylander has started becoming very consistent, and even Tavares most years is point per game.

Maybe Tavares is the most likely one due to him being a bit older, but his contract, even with it still having pretty decent value, is hard to move in a flat cap era and trading your captain away is kinda a big deal.
