Well Undertaker definitely shouldn't have won that match and the match literally sucked because of Taker lmfaoCanadian Dragon said:basically he made salad out of chickenshit, but he didnt really do anything other than capitalize on the fact that the booking fucking sucked and everyone hated the match lol
but he wasnt a heel and didnt turn heel until much later. it wasnt some long term plan either. it was just working the smarks with 0 payback. was it a cool moment? sure. but it was non sensical storytelling
I mean the fans basically turned on Roman for no reason other than he was WWE's guyCanadian Dragon said:and thats fine. i personally dont find much sense in pissing off your core audience
takes two to tango, so im putting plenty of onus on roman not making it good. a top guy would have made it work better. i never thought taker should win. but the entireangle and match and premise was hot garbage in the first place unless you were going to make roman the heel . which they didnt. whole thing wasa disaster and the definition of trying to force roman into the superhero role no one wantedSabretooth said:Well Undertaker definitely shouldn't have won that match and the match literally sucked because of Taker lmfao
Lesnar deserved the streak, if you actually remember his bookin' before that he was strugglin'. That and his SummerSlam match put Lesnar back in the spot he needed to be in
Yeah with the fans already hating Roman, there was no point in booking him as a babyface in the angle. As far as the match goes, I blame Taker entirely lmfaoCanadian Dragon said:takes two to tango, so im putting plenty of onus on roman not making it good. a top guy would have made it work better. i never thought taker should win. but the entireangle and match and premise was hot garbage in the first place unless you were going to make roman the heel . which they didnt. whole thing wasa disaster and the definition of trying to force roman into the superhero role no one wanted
at the end of the day the biggest fault goes to taker and vince because taker should have never been in this match or cleared for it, roman not exactly in a position to say no. i still think he should have been able to reverse the tombstone spot but hey, mistakes happen and people get caught off balance.Sabretooth said:Yeah with the fans already hating Roman, there was no point in booking him as a babyface in the angle.
