I went on vacation with some friends to the beach a few weeks after it came out that summer and me and one of my friends there got really fucked up and decided to go play it on the beach and it was just filled with people doing the same

Yep, I remember seeing others doing it. Especially at its peak when everybody was basically downloading it

Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee have quite a few mechanics different from the normal games and feels like Pokemon Go mixed with the original games (and a couple modern things like types and a couple forms + Megas)

But it is cute.

something with a decent story but not too hard.

is lets go just a remake of the first game?

I wanted a storyline

A remake of Yellow mixed with Pokemon Go mechanics

that sounds pretty badass.

Ironically it is more "cute" than badass lol

so it’s like the original 150 pokemon that i somewhat know and u use the joycon to toss the ball? do you even battle?

You battle trainers

But most wild pokemon you just chuck a ball at it like Pokemon Go

I used to use pikachu and would fuck shit up with him

Which that part turns me off it, although it is absolutely an adorable game
