I think, if you take how many matches happen, the amount of errors are so slim, I don't even think it's a problem the business has

usually stuff like when rope breaks count, when they count but aren't DQs gets people confused

Cause If a match has to finish in the ring but it's no DQ, a rope break still breaks up the pin bc you're out of bounds

But you wouldn't be DQd for holding onto a submission if there's a rope break bc there's no dqs

And it's bc WWE says stuff loudly like "THERES NO ROPE BREAKS IN CAGE MATCHES" bc they mean the submission part....and then they go and do a pin rope break still

Which is technically right but they've made it seem like it was wrong bc WWE are such geniuses

Well...it's funny, because I don't really notice that stuff. If it doesn't fuck up an actual finish, I don't put it as a strike against the match

It's a fairly rare situation, it's just came up in a few No DQ (not all Cage matches) in the last few years
