I remember when Santino hit Bryan with the cobra (I think) in the Chamber match, and for a second I thought they were gonna actually do it

They cheered for Santino to win the Elimination Chamber a month later too, that's over

So? That's the thing. Have him make a "I can actually Wrestle" storyline for the two months towards Wrestlemania. It would've been a Kofimania storyline years before Kofimania was a thing.

And I still think Shinsuke winning and then going on to turn heel at Mania instead of winning the title is one of worst decisions of all time
