Always thought it was ridiculous you had to pay to watch TV, especially with the shite they put on in England. I just use streaming services so haven't needed one for a while now.

I'm not sure how it is in the UK, but you have to pay here even if you don't own a TV. Since you have a Smartphone that also has Radio stations on it, you have to pay for it.
