A more recent example is Horror Movies. they fucking died in the 90s after Scream came out and only recently have made a big comeback.

Making that big comeback on the back of Nostalgia and Hype Culture... it's still not the same. Superhero Movies aren't going to die like that anytime soon. They got way too many people over all ages completely fixed on their Universe. They'll only die when Marvel decides they don't want to go on with them.
