Long story short, I think the key to any RE retelling is to expand on characters like Marvin Branagh, Edward Elliot, and other side characters in the RPD.

Which one is worse, RE 5 or RE 6?

I will say RE6 can be fun if you have a buddy to play with, co-op is pretty serviceable on that game. Playing it by yourself is not that fun though.
