I'm curious if Manhunt makes it in, it's perhaps my favourite stealth based horror game. Unsure if it's really considered important enough though, but it certainly made waves when it released.

Damn, that's crazy. You can buy it on PS4 over here, I've got it in my library. Was fun to re-visit. Definitely brutal, but I love that gritty tone and atmosphere.
