A long title run can be great but you need to find ways to keep it interesting and continually have good storylines and use that time to build people to challenge them.

Which woulda been better for jey but I loved that 3 way feud and match so I'm not mad either lol

And while not everyone will be, ideally you would like some challengers who failed still be elevated after challenging or have some real weight to their challenge.

But I think the issue with Roman's title run is that they haven't really built an interesting person who can beat him, and those who lost but benefitted from facing him didn't have a follow through to keep that momentum in some way or even change their character (aside from Jey maybe)

I've been reflecting on this for a few months now and the more he goes on...I think Bryan Danielson might be/become the best wrestler of all time.

I think the way he got over in WWE solidifies it for me, his biggest fans wouldn't have predicted it realistically
