The main idea for the alignment btw is that the third Defensive Lineman is meant to play either as a decoy Zone-man or force a 1-1 with the center, freeing up the outside Linemen

In practice it's looking really good, but I imagine against a West Coast Offense it'll struggle, which is where the 5-1-5 Nickel comes in.
