If I remember right, a court legally found that belts belong to the wrestling companies not a wrestler even if they put down a deposit....because ric Flair took the NWA belt with him to the WWF in 1991

Maybe somehow Ric actually owned that version of the NWA belt pictured and gave it to WWE he has a case, I'm not sure if he would have had one though. It's clearly the same belt the NWA uses now but I'm sure that's a remake as opposed to the actual belt from the 80s too
