I ran track in junior high but by high school I just did football and I quit that after sophomore year too lol the coaches let me just show up and work out still in the nice af weight room tho, not sure if they remembered I'd quit

We were forced to run track in Middle School

I did the fucking mile

I wasn't even good at it so that was just torture

Yeah the fuckin' mile runs and then the trackmeets that wasted weekends

I placed one time at 6th and got a nice pink ribbon, all the other times I was like 8th place or worst

Oh our track meets were only a night long pretty much and other than my actual event they were fun lol

I got a third place ribbon in one but I think everyone around went to smaller schools and the actual athletes in other sports didn't have to compete

3rd place woulda netted me a Medal

I tried to do the pole vault I remember but I didn't make the cut lmao
