I doubt it's really this directly but overall he's seemed a lot better on the shows Vince isn't in his ear. The direct lines are usually just boring plugs I'd imagine tho

Cole Is very dependent on his partner it seems, like him and Pat quite a bit. Him and Corey were the fucking worst tho

The few times Cole has done more color commentary with someone else taking play by play over has been pretty good too I'd say. Kinda similar to Tony Schiavone in AEW

Renee did NXT commentary years before and was fine, then on Raw Corey just wouldn't stop asking her about moxley cause they were married and he was heel
