A big layer to Page's character is that he's had a hard time believing in himself this whole time even though everyone wants him to succeed

but yeah basically the elite also treated him like shit, he got into drinking and screwed some stuff up but they were pretty harsh on him and kicked him out of the elite (altho he asked to leave before to do his own thing n they wouldnt let him). kenny blamed him for losing the tag belts. and he kind of spiraled and lost his confidence even more

then eventually became friends with dark order as they all started like, believing in each other for real and such. was like 2 years worth of story lol

He tried to join the Dark Order but they missed his application and when he told Brodie that, Page was like "yeah but I'm good now, I don't really wanna join" so Brodie flipped out on Silver and Reynolds for it

So then when they kept going hard trying to recruit him to make it up to Brodie, but after Brodie died, Dark Order was kinda lost and Page started teaming with them more and so on to really come full circle
