Unless there's serious, legitimate reason to disbelieve a claim, no one should call it into question outside a court of law. To do otherwise helps support abusers over survivors

Tell me about it. In my Evidence class we are looking at a documentary about a court trial and it shows tidbits from the news and it is sooooo bad in painting someone as innocent or guilty before trial. It is not even to that level in Canada

I think Canada in law has some protections in what the media can and can't do relating to ongoing cases. One is they can't record court proceedings but I need to check for more.
