That's a big oof. The closest thing that happened to me was... and I can't say it was more than coincidence, a champion's first promo in the first fed I ran (after I left) basically was beat for beat the same format as one I did when I won my first e-fed title with a babyface character XD Impersonate opponent with a mock name, then shed the disguise, title is handed to him, then gets a bit more serious before talking about wanting to be a fighting champion. I only noticed like 4 months after when I looked at it.
