I see that, but to that I’d say create like 1000 new planets, make them zillions of light years away and properly disperse all life forms amongst them.

Maybe even snap away spaceships so they can’t leave their new assigned planet.

I’d say that amounts to the same thing as killing half of all life. Those people left on Earth is probably more than who’d be on each of my planets.
