ultimately I guess I feel its better to look inwards than outwards, but im also very cynical

Yeah he's a major prophet just not recognized as the the son of God from what I understand

They claim and so do a lot of scholars that Jesus never claimed to be the one true son of god, but A SON of god. Like we all are. Made in his image and his word.

When Christianity became a thing they supposedly translated A SON to THE SON in the texts.

Learning about all the main religions just convinced me that if there's anything as far as a higher power then more than likely humans misinterpreted and corrupted the idea and that's how we ended up with all these vastly different religions that still have some similarities when broken down, yet formed early enough that there wasn't much interaction

I believe in God and all that. But I’m not one of the people who is all “oh if you don’t believe and follow him you’ll go to hell!!” Like nah. Just if you live a good life and stuff I believe you’ll be rewarded no matter what you believe. In fact someone being good just because is better than being good because you’re scared of hell

in fact i believe the bible warns against being nice just to not go to hell. it has to be pure

to me most religions all have the same message anyways, the ones that matter: treat others like you want to be treated. do not cause pain onto others. when you do bad things, you need to admit it and try to make things right

Oh if God is real, we definitely bastardized his word.

There can only be one true religion. And it’s probably Judaism IF if it’s any of the Abraham religions. Since it came first and the others all came to be because they didn’t like how they practiced it or what have you.
