I remember one week the NBA finals were on, and Eric just lost the first head to head with Raw a month back so he didn't want to cancel a full Nitro so after some begging they let him do a 1-hour Nitro before the game started. This was when Nitro was 3 hours normally.

Also bc ESPN is petty af and buries sports they have 0 TV rights to, NHL is talked about a lot more on there now than before
