Freddy really freaked me out as a kid because the whole get you in your sleep thing

Same. The fact you need to sleep at some point and Freddy will come and get you if you do always terrified me. At least with the other villains there is ways to fight back better. He has control of the dream world.

Yeah I am not really into the horror genre either.

I can handle stuff like The Walking Dead, the Saw movies etc...

It's my favourite genre. I don't tend to branch out all that much. I like getting scared I guess.

You see that is where I feel 'weird' when it comes to horror. I'm an anxious guy but like horror movies feel like an outlet for me. Despite getting scared for the characters, I know it isn't real but I'm able to let some steam off when I'm watching.

Yep, I hate going grocery shopping or public transport and it's even worse these days
