Dak, this isn't an issue where you and I disagree on 2nd Amendment Rights, because I don't care what people think on that as long as they aren't forcing their opinions. When someone however tries to tell me, "These people do not deserve any rights like marriage or even the barest of respect laid upon them, because they are gay, or transgender." Then I will openly take up opposition and outwardly show contempt.

I do not believe gay rights or trans rights are a Democrat vs. Republican issue, I believe is it a right to live like any other heterosexual person, with respect and dignity.

I personally don't agree with the idea that telling kids that Gay or Transgender people that they are like any other person and should be treated equally is indoctrination though. What I believe *is* indoctrination is enforcing draconian religious beliefs before they are at the age of reasonable discussion and debate. But that is just me, and that's okay.
