I think there has to be a good middle ground. Don’t go full on PC as fuck, but at the same time you can’t exactly keep up shitty behavior because it’s how it was in the past.

The way I see it is this, people and society change as we learn new things and values change. Sometimes it is for the better or other times it isn't, but I think we kind of need to acknowledge that change. Adapt, but also learn what works and what doesn't. Then when we look at stuff that hasn't aged well, maybe go "Ah, that was fun back then," but maybe be thankful we improved in other ways.
