That said, there's a few Russo era WWF ppvs he's reviewed where I could tell he really liked the shows. The WCW ones are the ones he criticizes more and with good reason.

I know I've heard him say on one of his reviews that he got into wrestling when Russo was booking WWF and that if not for Russo, he might have never even become a wrestling fan.

And I think a lot of people can relate with that.

I like a lot of trash, too. WCW 2000 I still watch and enjoy.

If it wasn't for Russo, I'd never have become a WWE fan. I'll say that right now. I enjoyed WCW, but not WWF before Russo came along.

I mean I still found the top guys enjoyable in WCW but I was still more of a Malenko and Benoit kind of kid

Yeah, I mean... he was booking WWF when I became a fan. But I was also 3-4 years old at the time so

Either way, it was an undeniably great period of wrestling. Some of the most entertaining TV ever... from any genre. So, he should always get respect for that.

The thing about WCW was the undercard had the best wrestling and the main had the best characters. Which is the besto f both worlds to me. WWE had a stronger main because they bridged that gap in the main, but that undercard was awful for years.
