Lol, here's some fun math: Cornette earned 150k in 1990 when he didn't want to sign back with WCW, which today is little over 300k. Cornette would also talk about the Omni in Atlanta selling out all the time, which at the time in 1984, would have been about 15,522 for attendance. In 1984 that would have been a gate of $107,393, and in 2021 that would be $281,655.54. Imagine getting a gate like that consistently semi-weekly, tbf.

Even then, that math might be off because I used the average price of a ticket in 1992, which was $6.50 for the Omni and backtracked it to 1984. So the price might actually be even more by comparison.
