It shouldn't be, though, they don't have monthly ppvs like WWE so if you're gonna pay for these, they should be good cards. And honestly, I don't think Impact sees as throwaways like Smackville, I just don't like their product anymore.

I assure you they do. They aren't out to make these shows PPV quality.

I don't hate Impact, I did watch some shows with Sky and Chris I think around Mania weekend. The Hardcore one?

AEW are the only people trying to do that, $40 traditional ppv, WWE made the market with pay $10 for a ppv. Impact followed suit. And I have to disagree. You can look at that Emergence show, and how they made the match graphics and promoted it. Had a contender's match and a world title match on Rampage to make the main event of the show. They promoted it like WWE would any ppv that wasn't SummerSlam or WrestleMania.

I can't totally remember, but you still gotta pay for ROH's real PPVs, even if you have the Honor Club sub right? I feel like I paid about 40 bucks for Best In The World.

HonorClub used to and got killed. They're included now.

ROH is a perfect example, though. They don't put most of their tour shows on PPV, but they do on HonorClub, and most of their cards feel like they're trying. You get people to pay $10 a month, they want good live shows. WWE set the bar high, hard to train us to go backwards.

Most of the matches on Emergence were definitely throwaways. You could see the same with Homecoming. That show was really just a one-night filler thing. The difference between these Impact Plus specials and the actual PPVs like BFG, Slammy, Rebellion and Hard To Kill is quite obvious.
