I think the thing Smark is that Forums, to begin with, are more for people who want to have proper discussions with people in a way that they can look back on and use later. Social Media, Discord, and Reddit, in my opinion at least, are more for folks to want information quickly and succinctly in bite-sized chunks.
TBH it feels like a chore to do that on social media tbh, same with Discord and Reddit. Like I'm wasting my time reading through inane comments when it's easier for me to come on here and pick and choose what I want to read.Cicada said:The answer I usually get is the sense of community is more so what people still flock to for forums.
