I think it's just his character. I don't really remember people complaining about him in the ring when he was cult leader but they could have been.

I don't think it's injuries. I think it's mostly gimmicks. I thought he sucked to watch in the ring as swamp Bray too, because it was 80% doing his creepy bits that never worked for me.
