I think WWE realized that The Fiend's gimmick was getting a bit ridiculous. As a huge fan of his, I understood that it was getting a bit ridiculous. I do know, however, that Bray was booked to win against Randy originally and it was changed at the last minute. I think the break gives him a lot of time to retool the character and make it more palatable and less divisive like he has been.
