The law is weird tbh, I got a minor in consumption ticket one time and my roommate wasn't technically convicted but I was bc of how we plead. I took the conviction bc it was cheaper to get it off your record when you finished the punishment. He didn't bc they suspended your driver's license for like a month but other than that our punishment were identical

But he never got his off his record bc you'd have to actually take it to court, I just paid $20
