Some states have it and it is legal at the Federal level too.

I don't support the death penalty for one reason. Money. It costs more to put someone to death than it costs to house them for life.

When you factor in the legal appeals, etc...

It's probably one a few states left. I never really was bothered by the death penalty.

I did a research paper on that subject in college.

i remember when I was younger there was a dude put to death on live tv. it didn't show it but they had reporters outside

I also did one on the de-criminalization of marijuana.

imagine doing like 30 years for weed. getting out and it's legal.

That was before state legalization was a thing.

Well.....to do 30 years for weed you would have to be in possession of a HUGE amount where it was obvious you were selling it. Which is still illegal in states where marijuana is "legal" I think.
