Yeah, I need to brush up but I think some are, some aren't.

Back in the day during Japanese tours, they'd sometimes drop the title to them as a favor. Then the champ would win it back in a few days. This mostly happened with the NWA title and IIRC they're all counted as legit title changes. It happened only once with the WWF title. Inoki beat Backlund and held it for a short while but it's not counted by WWE even tho the match is right here. I see no reason to not recognize it in 2021.
