I remember people thinking they'd remake RDR 1 but I guess it wasn't meant to be. I love both of them in different ways. RDR 1 is more of a love letter to spaghetti western's

A remake would honestly be kinda ideal. When the first game was made there were no plans for a sequel so they feel kinda separate in some ways. I do hope it retains the vibe of the first game well enough tho. There are a few key callbacks in RDR 2 tho

yeah there's a few key callbacks but John's original story of why he left the gang in RDR 1 was a lot less glamorous than what actually happened lol

True, but going back and adding things just to add things just doesn't seem right and kind of would ruin the first game a bit

I get your point but I'm just imagining a map with Mexico, the RDR 1 section and the entire RDR 2 map lol. That would be sweet. Also another thing I forgot, the map inconsistencies from the first game
