tl/dr seems they mostly released him for not disclosing the allegation, and from my pov, had a ton of heat with a lot of people, so it was a decent enough reason to can him. obviously the heat stuff is word of mouth so take it for what it is. he never got charged and from what i understand the accuser was a rather unsavory type. now that doesnt mean nothing happened either, of course but as i said not charges were filed as far as im concerned.
