I just remember the story starts off with your character interviewing RVD and John Cena over who did it

Honestly playing that story with Austin almost makes sense too bc I can imagine him doing that like he's still the sheriff

I didn't play that story near as much, idk if I even triggered all the stories tbh

Then Big Vis comes up on you trying to creep

But I did play through it at least twice

And I loved 06 cause it had trophies. If you did certain things in story mode you’d get trophies

I don’t remember the 07 story mode at all except for Rey mysterio trying to get a world title match and he can’t cause he’s a cruiserweight

It seems as graphics got better, the games got worse, and thats not just for wrestling either.

Like, some of the best NASCAR games was during that PS2 era. But then as they started to focus way more on making the game look good, they didn't focus on making the game actually be good.

A lot of it is the monetization of online play tbh but a lot of games also seemed to get worse before they even did that it's just ruined sports games
