Yes but you may also lose out on talent if you're unable to outbid the competition or if a wrestler has built in loyalty to someone/somewhere, or if the wrestler does not compete in your region. For example, lots of Japanese guys have loyalty to their home promotion and won't sign exclusive deals elsewhere. And then, you may run into the issue of them not wanting to work in North America either. Making them impossible to sign.
Sounds like like they out the Japanese contracts a lot more thoroughly than independent company contracts.
All I was saying is while there is some contract stuff in play, I’ve seen plenty go completely ham on roster accusations that are so entirely unrealistic.
And if that’s how you want to play, fair game.
I try to research contracts and real life situations when considering stuff for a BTB so it can be done without TEW, but with or without TEW you have to want that realism. It can be done either way. I do think it must be fun to build up lower rated wrestlers if you have the patience, though, on TEW. I probably don’t.
