I do find it a little crazy the expectation people have for the PC to pump out homegrown talent
I'm not saying they should have found the new Stone Cold or anything but you think after all these years they'd have more than 3 success stories

I mean does it matter whether they're homegrown or they take a Tyler Black and polish a diamond?

The indie scene is popping in a sense, because they're definitely drawing more than ever. I think that's just a result of more fans nowadays being smarter and more diehard than the average fan of 20 years ago. But the talent? :deandre I'd say the talent pool is more like the worst it's been in generations.

I half agree and half disagree. I’d say talent is a definite decline compared to 20 years ago in the overall sense, but the indies were a dire place at the time. And not just because the fans are smarter.

There just weren’t much in terms of indies in general back then unless you counted ECW as an Indy.

I’d 100% give you 10 years ago. ROH and PWG and all them indies much better in 2006-2015 era.

If the current Roman Reigns can't get mainstream exposure, WWE isn't gonna be able to make any more stars like that

I mean there have been good acts come out of the PC as well. Weren't American Alpha homegrown? Heavy Machinery? Both very solid tag teams.

Then what do you need a PC for? Wrestlers of the past got better working with veterans every night. PC idea was to take people off the street and make them wrestlers

Of course that has to do with the existence of, what, 5 or 6 large scale companies in America at the moment?

You beat me to it. :WOW

Yeah, 5-6 major companies I’d say. Most of the top indies come close to just being mainstream at this point. And then like 10 solid indies rn.

I'm just saying PC has pumped out some talented people. It's more to do with the booking of the main roster as to why they don't succeed.
