From what I've heard a lot of them cut back on full time employees when they started pushing how good their wages were a few years ago, idk how true that is tho

So they pay more but you get less hours, employ more people overall too tho

When I quit they were trying to weed out all the old timers and hire younger people for less money to do their jobs, plus they were combining everything.

there used to be like people assaigned to certain departments but now they want you to know how to work everything in your area so if people call in sick you can cover and they aren't screwed.

like i worked everyone at one point in that store but say i was working electronics, well in the goold old days when i liked working there you just hung out in electronics and helped customers and stocked the shelves when needed.

now you work that, plus the photo lab, plus automotive, plus hardware, plus sporting goods, plus toys, plus layaway, plus crafts.

and they wonder why customers can't find help. because the person with the keys to the video game case is over in fucking sporting goods printing a fishing license for someone.
