Grew up with a lot of great alternative rock on the radio while the rap they played up here on the same channel was normally trash

Radio rap generally isn't very good, unless maybe you live in LA or NYC and the DJs know what they're doing

I'm pretty sure the rap stations here are like 1/3 Chris Brown, 1/3 early 2000s rap, 1/6 Texas rap and 1/6 whatever is currently trending
