I have to completely disagree lmfao but to each their own

My parents were kind of the same tbh lol, it was always the argument of "We can just do X at home"

If I'm being honest, I really think we just didn't have the money so they acted like they weren't interested in holidays. Obviously as a kid I just thought we had plenty of money to spend because you see all your friends going on big holidays etc

It's all good. I wouldn't say they were cheap, there is just better things to be spending money on. Holidays are nice but when you have bills to pay and shit and they were never great at saving up

I didn't mind the seaside holidays anyways, I used to just go to the arcades as a kid and play on the claw machines and stuff, it was fun enough as a kid without going to another country
