The Beatles were almost cancelled in the US in the 1960's, people tried to cancel John Lennon, people tried to cancel Beavis & Butthead, South Park, the Dixie Chicks, etc. It happens my dude. It's just not on a pure concentrated level like nowadays with the advent of Social Media. It's what we've been saying. Cancel culture has always been there, but it is not on *the level* of today. Whether you admit it or not, it's... not my problem I guess? The Great One said:Blaze has been saying Cancel Culture isn't new the entire time. I don't believe one band and maybe South Park is a full blown Cancel Culture. So I believe that is new, at least to this severity. So if we're agreement there than just say that. But I don't think we do agree and it's whatever, man.

I apologized if I used it improperly in the sense of abusinve relationship. and obviously didnt mean it that way, as i explained my position further down. again, you are WRONG. deal with it broThe Great One said:I mean, does it look like you're actually sorry? You literally tried to blame me for it in the next sentence and here and then the last post I replied to.
So he's not sorry after all, like I thought.Jeff Valley Driver said:so i used it properly then, THANK YOU FVERY FUCKING MUCH
Lennon was so unpopular in the 70's even the government was trying to deport him. I'd consider that cancel culture tbh.Sabretooth said:I was wondering when someone was gonna bring up The Beatles getting cancelled in the 60s for John Lennon saying they were more popular than jesus
nothing to be sorry about beyond your perception of how I used the word. stop acting like a victim, grow up, and move on son.The Great One said:So he's not sorry after all, like I thought.
I never said it was a joke. I asked a question and he refused to answer it. If that's gaslighting, man, I could win some arguments easily by claiming people are gaslighting me when I don't want to answer questions.Judge Barry said:Political gaslighting is basically making it so a political opponent's argument can only be treated as a joke or a non-answer regardless of the answer because the question posed to the opponent is framed in a loaded or otherwise unanswerable fashion.
