I feel at the end of the day people don't get canceled nearly as much as it's made out to happen, and many cases of cancelation are just people being held accountable for shit, and the things they are cancelled for are things that would inspire people to no longer support or employ them regardless of if social media was spotlighting it or not

And it's all grouped together as "cancel culture" whether they're legitimate rapist or just said a bad thing once lol that's what's so annoying. People just get the buzzwords in their head and won't let go
