Now another choice would be two guys of not so imposing stature.

I had CM Punk and Chris Hero in mind for that.

The J&J route, I could get behind that and it seems more Kanyony as well

I'd fuck with both of them but I can't picture them not just being fodder at first and idk how well that would work if you'd want to morph them into decent guys on their own

I'm also not super high on Kanyon so Monty might be best for the turn and face run to take the belt off of Kanyon like a Batista/Trips sort of thing

They would definitely be squash fodder to start with. I imagine two grungy dudes maybe picked up from like a venue's security staff.

But that might be way too early for Monty as well

Or personal security for Blink-182. Some shit like that.

Yeah, I don't think there are many good "ready" options. But then again, I don't intend for the person to skyrocket to the main event.

Team with Kanyon for a while, take some Ls in singles matches against high level competition, break off and realize they're better on their own

Kanyon is dope AF, Christopher.

I like Kanyon a lot, I just never saw him as a main event player, but I loved him for an upper mid card guy
