I'm probably gonna start with TWD comics Chris, thoughts?

idk haven't read them but theyr'e #20 on this best ever series list I'm going down

It's the one I have a bit of interest in before you even suggested comics, so it seems like a good test to see if it's for me

If you already know the characters it should be way easier to get into

Got my tablet near my bed, so if I can't sleep after an hour I'm just gonna read comics. Bad habit incoming boys

I'd recommend The Dark Knight Returns if you like Batman, it was #1 on that list. Not my overall favorite probably but easily top 5

I think Spider-Man would interest me too, not sure if they are any good

It's a standalone story set like 10 years after he retires, very much r-rated

Going to have to get used to reading 'em though, for some reason I have always had trouble following comics

Idk any really great Spider-Man stories tbh but he's always good. I think the top one on my list is just his original run under Stan Lee from the 60s, which I'll get to once I finish this OG Fantastic Four run from the same time lol

It took me a bit to get into them but once you read a good bit you just kinda get a feel for how you're supposed to follow along lol, follow the text bubbles is usually the best bet bc it may not always be right to left but they'll connect the bubbles to the next panel
