If I want to watch WCW I'll watch WCW. Why would I watch that abysmal 31 match?

I don't know about that, WCW overpaid every body. Young guys in Impact who are scared to ask for a paycheck don't even get paid

If WCW was sold to Easy E, the large paychecks would have stopped. Turner paid those checks.

That was the game plan anyway. You didn't need Hogan, Piper, etc, hogging top spots in 2001.

Sting would have stayed. He was a WCW guy and something tells Goldberg would have too since he didn't even like WWE the one year he went there. Everythign else would have been a rebuilding effort.

Sting was used terribly in 2000 so I'd hope he'd have been treated better in this hypothetical scenario
