The person who gets the most quotes the next dayphase wins the duel, the loser loses to the strength that the dual started with (so if a regular kill started the duel, a regular kill ends it. Same for super and ultra). This cannot be protected against. Quotes from your faction (towards you or your opponent) don’t count.[Pretzel Day]: 1-shot.
